Brady turned 2 months old yesterday!

Not thrilled with this whole picture taking thing...

He has finally put on some weight and weighs 10 pounds! And he is 22 inches long. He JUST switched to size 1 diapers about 2 days ago, and he is now in 0-3 month clothes...they are still a tiny bit big on him though.

Brady has started smiling (!!!), he coos and grunts, and holds his head up for longer periods of time. We are still dealing with reflux, but it's getting a little bit better. He had his 2 month shots last week and was such a trooper! He was pretty fussy for a day or so after, but it was definitely not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Since getting his shots, he has run lots of errands with me, and has been out and about much more frequently.

A hint of a smile!

After his 2 month shots

Since I go back to work at the end of November, we have started sleep training because mama needs more sleep! Since switching to formula (long story), Eric has been able to take a night feeding every couple nights, which has helped tremendously! But I still don't get enough sleep mostly because Brady has started this new thing where he will only sleep with me. It's exhausting. So we have been working on getting him to sleep longer periods of time in the swing, the crib, and the rock'n'play. It's not going too great. He will sleep in those things for about 30 minutes at a time and then wake up screaming at the top of his lungs, and refuses to be consoled until he is laying with mommy. I know I'm going to miss him sleeping with me when he is older, but man, oh man, I'm not sure how much more my neck/back/arms can take - not to mention the being unable to sleep because I'm terrified of him sleeping WITH me. It's a daily struggle. We are working on it though! I have him on a feeding/sleeping schedule now and I'm partially hoping that once he starts daycare, they will just work on sleep training for me.... ;)

Brady likes when mommy sings to him, taking baths with mommy, going for walks and runs in his stroller, car rides, and of course, cheering on the Baylor bears!

With his cousin, Amelia, who obviously roots for the wrong team ;)

Brady dislikes being strapped into his car seat, being put to sleep (fights it like crazy!), being hungry, and still hates diaper changes.

Speech therapy humor!

Lovin' on Pawpaw

Hip-hip-hooray!

We love you sweet Brady boy!!
